Letter from the Principal

Happy October!

The first week of October is a packed week. We have Homecoming Spirit activities planned each day from Oct 2nd-6th. We will also be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food for the food drive during HOCO week.. The class with the most items donated will earn a PIZZA PARTY on October 11, 2023.

Hedding Grade School Fannie May Fundraiser will be from October 2nd-13th. Please have students return their order forms to the front office by October 16th.

October is Fire Safety Month, please make sure to check your smoke detector batteries. Kindergarten will be taking a Field Trip to A-Town's Fire Station to learn more safety tips.

We will be celebrating Halloween activities on October 31st. We will have our class parties and parade. Parties will start at 1:30pm and the Parade will begin at 2:30pm. Students will change into their costumes after lunch. Please contact your child's teacher if you would like to volunteer to help with getting students ready in their costumes, help with the party and supply a treat, game or goodie bags.

The PTA Meeting will be held at the Avon Campus on October 3, 2023 at 5:30pm.
