Thank you for helping clear the shelter!
The Town would like to express its gratitude to the Sunnyvale community and all who helped clear the Sunnyvale Animal Shelter when it was over capacity early this week. Thank you!!!
The pictures below are the three pups who remain at the shelter. If you or someone you know is interested in Ace, Gary, or Jace, please contact Animal Control Officer Frank Locke - (214) 862-4525. Let’s find these pups their “furever” home!
Ace
Ace is housebroken, neutered, and ready for a family.
He is young and playful and has some manners. He walks well on leash.
Gary
Gary is friendly but does not seek social contact. He prefers to be a watcher.
Gary possibly has some type of mobility issue with some discomfort in his back hip.
Jace
Jace is a happy boy but a little insecure around strangers. He plays well with most other dogs.
One unique thing about Jace is that he smiles, which can be mistaken for barring his teeth if you don't know him. He is very friendly and playful!
Reminder:
The next outdoor warning siren test will occur next Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 12 p.m. If there is a chance of inclement weather in the area, this test will not be performed.
The Town's emergency alert system will also be tested on this day at 11:30 a.m. Sign up here to receive emergency alerts!
