The semester is almost over - what this means for FINAL grades:
Teachers will continue to evaluate the academic evidence provided to them by reviewing...
1. Academic performance toward meeting the grade level expectation for each standard or skill
2. The consistency of performance as skills/knowledge is applied in different ways
3. The quantity of evidence provided in each unit throughout the course
All of these elements will assist teachers in determining a student's FINAL grade.
If students provided quality evidence in the beginning of the semester, but have failed to produce evidence at the end of the semester, their final grade may be lower than previously posted due to this lack of evidence. Students are encouraged to finish strong, as the learning continues to the final day of class.
