Principal Report:
Dear Waukazoo Families,
With our new semester starting, it's a great time to remind parents of the importance of safety during drop off and pick up! Please be sure to follow the rules of the road when entering our school campus. This helps keep all our families safe as they transport students to and from school. Making safe choices on Lakewood and also in our parking lots ensures we have an efficient drop off and pick up line!
This month we are excited to celebrate Purple Power throughout the West Ottawa district. Purple Power raises funds for cancer research. During this time, we remember loved ones lost to cancer and celebrate friends and family who are currently in treatment or remission. Waukazoo has a strong history of supporting friends and family throughout the district. Students will participate in a school wide assembly to kick off Purple Power on February 16! The next week, we will continue to celebrate and remember by hosting special events leading up to the Purple Power Basketball Games on February 23. Below are details coming up for February 16 and 19-23:
- Friday, February 16: Wear 150th Anniversary shirt for Assembly
- Monday, February 19: Honor Wall- Ribbons for sale for $1 to remember friends and family
- Tuesday, February 20: Purple Power Store is open!
