MA DESE Has Adopted the following Required Guidelines for Returning to School
KPHS Athletics Return to Play Protocols
All students who test positive for COVID must:
- Stay home for 5 days. (Days 1-5)
- If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.
- Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days. (Days 6-10)
To Keep Your Team Healthy and Playing:
If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever is resolved for 24 hours and you are symptom-free.
All students who test positive for COVID must complete the return to play protocol upon becoming symptom-free:
Meet with the athletic trainer on day six if you are not symptomatic to develop their personalized return to play protocol.
Meet daily on days 6-10 with the Athletic trainer to assess progress. (If these days fall on a weekend the plan will be assigned for them with expected documentation of competition)
Day eleven return to practice/play with their team. **
**Note: Days 6-10 the student cannot be with the team (practices, games meeting, etc.)
Please be aware that teammates who do not follow protocol risk their team being shut down.

SPECTATOR and CLUB Participation Requirements
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We will only be able to do this if those in attendance adhere to mask guidelines which includes proper mask-wearing.
Please help us out and do the right thing. We don't have the ability to be the mask police so please police yourself so that all can continue to enjoy these events and cheer on our teams.
We will get through this together and will be able to shed the masks again!
