Volume 5 Issue 10
It was a full week at Tustin Connect. We had Picture Day at both campuses, first week of classes at the high school along with a welcome back BBQ, some awesome big buddy time, and it was Boss's Day on Monday. This week is Red Ribbon Week with dress up days, Principal's Coffee Wednesday morning, and Trunk or Treat is this Thursday. You cannot miss it. It's going to be amazing!!!
This week's background features pictures from an impromptu hangout with a few of our 8th graders and our K/1 students during their break, highlights from the visit to our high school from CSUF regarding admissions, first day of Biology class with Mrs. Bullock, and a picture of one of the posters with some extra designs for Boss's Day.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please reach out to Mr. Fineberg, our principal, at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

Principal's Message...
What a fantastic week of events we had across all grade levels this past week between Picture Day (which is always a crowd pleaser) and HS BBQ and first day of classes for the 2nd quarter, there was lots going on. This week is Trunk or Treat and we could not be more excited along with Red Ribbon Week. Please be sure to check out the dress up schedule to recognize the important messages from Red Ribbon Week along with the opportunity to take part in Trunk or Treat. I mean, it is one of my favorite events of the year. This year's Trunk or Treat event has what you've come to love with the Trunk or Treating candy collection, costume contest, games, and food, but also this year for the first time ever we are offering a Silent Auction! There will be awesome deals to have and a great opportunity to support our amazing PTA! We are looking forward to seeing everyone there this Thursday, October 26th from 5-7 pm at the K-8 campus. This is THE event of the year, and you won't want to miss it!
Also, our Coffee With the Principal/Counselor/Mental Health Professional is on October 25th at the K-8 campus in the Estock MPR at 9 am. Our Mental Health Professionals will be joining our counselor and I as they define and share strategies for coping with anxiety and depression. It's going to be an invaluable opportunity to learn from the professionals.
A big thank you to our PTA for the awesome staff polos! Thank you PTA!!!
