Important Notes
1. Keep the yellow daily folder in the backpack, Please check it every day and sign the behavior chart on the back.
Green or Pink = Followed the rules and had a great day!
Yellow = Needed extra reminders about following the rules.
Red = Had a difficult time following the rules.
2. Please, send healthy and full lunch in your child lunch box if they don't eat the cafeteria food.
3. Keep practicing tying their shoes.
4. Keep extra clothes in a ziploc bag in your student's backpack to use in case of need.

What your child is learning?
Reading:
- Listen to stories and answer questions.
- Identify letters and sounds.
Writing:
- Letters formation and name practice.
Phonics:
- Making letter with different types of lines.
- Completing beggining of the year assessments.
Math:
- Numbers Identification from 1 to 10.
- Count from 1 to 20.
- Write the numbers from 1 to 10.
- Labeling numbers from 1 to 10.

DLI (K1 & K3) information...
- As an extension from what they are learning in Math class, your child will be working on the Math books volume 1 and 2 that you received at the Sneak-A-Peek meeting. I will send you next week the pages to practice at home. Please, If your child still does not have the Math books to practice at home, let know to Mrs. Hoffman or Sra. Lopez. Thank you.

DLI Spanish Math for K1 and K3 (DLI) students
Park Street Dress Code
All students are expected to be in uniform. Fridays "Spirit Days" are the only days students should be out of uniform, on these days, students are still expected to wear Marietta/Park Street gear and be weather and school appropriate.
Reminder that all students should be wearing tennis shoes every day.
