Springmill STEM Family Update

The countdown continues! We have 7 days of school remaining before break. We DO have school on Monday, December 19th and Tuesday the 20th (the 20th is an early release). We are celebrating the holidays over the next week and a half with dress up days, class competitions, and the 2nd quarter PBIS assembly. Unfortunately, we do not have a holiday program this year, but we will be having a spring program.

Tuesday - Santa's Little Helpers Day - dress up as an elf

Miss Dennis 4th grade class will be visiting Crystal Care Nursing home on December 19, 2022 to bring them a little holiday joy. We would like to be able to bring gift bags to at least 20 residents on behalf of the school. We are asking for the following donations to fill these bags from each classroom (1 student brings 1 item, most less than $2).

Kindergarten - Socks
1st grade - Hand soap or hand lotion

2nd grade - puzzles or sugar free candy

3rd grade - Combs/Brushes
4th Grade - lip balm or mouthwash

5th Grade - Denture Cream or toothpaste

6th Grade - Christmas Cards (home-made or purchased)

Please have donations sent in by next Thursday, December 15, 2022.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving Break, our 4th graders had a Thanksgiving dinner together.

For our second quarter PBIS reward event, we are holding a raffle. Students are able to buy tickets for the raffle for some pretty spectacular prizes using their PBIS points. The main prize is a game system (Nintendo Switch or XBox S Series), but there will be other prizes raffled off.
