2022/2023 Farmington School District Climate and Culture Surveys
The week of October 24th building principals sent out our annual Climate and Culture Surveys. We hope that each family will take the time to complete the short survey.
We appreciate the previous survey information from the 2021-2022 culture climate form. Your feedback, along with student and staff feedback, was used to begin our structured goals within the FSD Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
As in the past, the purpose of this survey is to understand your student's school experience to identify areas for continuous improvement. Your candid responses on the survey items will lead to school improvement and will contribute to the final structure of our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
FSD Parents As Teachers Participate In the 2022 Mountain Plains Crunch Off
In celebration of Farm to School Month, states throughout the Mountain Plains Region competed to see which state could get the most "crunches" into a local apple or other local produce, per capita. As a Crunch Off participant, the FSD Parents As Teachers (PAT) program joined with Farmington families to celebrate the wonderful produce the Mountain Plains Region has to offer. During this months PAT family visits our teachers shared healthy eating habits and the importance of supporting our local agriculture.
We are blessed to live in a beautiful community that supported our PAT program by supplying the apples for the PAT family visits. A special thank you to Crystal and Rich's Produce who helped put smiles on children's faces as they crunched their way into delicious apples and healthy choices!
