The Counseling Corner
January, 2021 Vol. 2
W.R. Croman elementary School
Hello parents & guardians,
I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and New Years holiday break. I am so excited to have the students back in person. Wellness lessons are much more fun and engaging when we are in the classroom. I have many exciting lessons planned this month. Topics for the month include: worry, career interests, anger (kindergarten and first grade), and self-esteem (second grade).
If you would like to know more about these lessons, ask your student about: the story "Ruby Finds a Worry," what they want to be when they grow up, the story "Tucker Turtle Takes Time to Tuck and Think," and the things that make them unique and different!
As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or comments about wellness and the counseling services offered at Croman Elementary School.

Croman Elementary School and The Child and Hunger Outreach Partners (CHOP) have teamed up! The mission of CHOP is to "end childhood hunger in the United States and create an entire generation that doesn't know hunger." CHOP believes that feeding students in schools is an essential step to #ChopOutHunger! CHOP will provide healthy snack options for students who forget or do not have a snack so no student goes without.
