Hello everyone,
Varsity and JV had blow out games on Thursday! 9-0 v Vista for V and 10-0 for JV v DN! We were split at two different fields but still on the same page!
The bus ride for Varsity was energetic, full of laughter, and singing. It had been so long since the girls rode the bus, they made the most of their first bus ride in 2 seasons! Admittedly, I even missed it- I get to experience the team bonding, fun, and listen to them singing. (Although I did tell them it was a good thing they were such talented FH players... and not trying out for American Idol) See below of their cute pic in front of McDonald's.
Both teams will have a pasta party tomorrow after practice. Separate emails with details from managers was sent out. Both teams also play 2 games this week against the same opponents. Now that I know the girls want to ride the bus so bad- we polled them- I will be working on buses to Del Norte, and will send an update with more info.
I would love to have the scoreboard in use during the JV home games. Anyone interested in working the booth please let me know. We can get a quick tutorial for you and a helper! Also, the score book and clock at our home games are a must for the home team so if you are too shy to run the scoreboard please volunteer to work the clock and scorebook at the table.
Throughout the year the girls will send me random group photos and videos. I try to incorporate them in the newsletter. October was an all time high so check out the collage of photos below.
