Dear St. Anne Parents,

If you do nothing else, please read the articles below about our upcoming Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences. All students will be bringing home a Parent-Student-Teacher Conference Form asking you to select some possible dates for your child(ren)'s conference(s). The form is due back this Friday. Thank you.

Our first quarter will end on Friday, Oct. 22. Report cards will be going on with all students on Thursday, Oct. 28. With this month's Halloween Festivities taking place on Friday, Oct. 29, we will not be hosting for parents our usual Honor Roll/SLE Assembly. We will, however, resume inviting parents to attend our second quarter Honor Roll/SLE Assembly. Speaking for all our teachers and staff, it has been so wonderful having all our students back in person. We have an outstanding group of students and seeing them interact with each other helps everyone return to a "normal" daily interaction and education. We look forward to an even stronger second quarter!!

11/2-5 - Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences (dismissal 12:30)

If you know of a family who would like to find out more about our school from a parent's perspective, please invite them to join one of our school's Parent Information Forums. The forum will be hosted by past and present parents. The first forum will take place on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 9:00 via zoom. For more information, meeting ID and passcode, please review the flyer below.

Our Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences will take place November 2-5. Every student will bring home a conference slip tomorrow, Oct. 14. . Please fill out the slip with your first, second and third choice for a conference date and time and return it back to your child's teacher by Friday. For health and safety purposes we will need proof of COVID vaccination records of (both parents if both attending). Please send copies to the school office by Friday, October 15. All shared vaccination documentation will be shredded once it is recorded on our parent roster. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated! Unvaccinated parents will need to present a negative COVID PCR test result to the teacher from no more than 3-5 days before the conference. Thanks for your immediate attention to this matter.

Dismissal will be at 12:30 November 2-5. In addition, please remember that there will be

NO LUNCH SERVICE available from Choicelunch on those days!!!

Students attending Extended Care MUST bring a bag lunch that week.

Please make note of these changes.

Thank you to those who have already sent in your proof of full vaccination already. We need to have proof of full vaccination or virus -free in order for parents to participate in our conferences this year. In order for parents to participate in any school event and to not delay things, we are asking parents to provide proof of COVID vaccination records from (both parents). Parents not vaccinated will need to provide a COVID test within the last 3 days, but no more than5 days prior to any scheduled conference/event. Please send copies of your full vaccination to the school office by Friday, October 15. All records shared will be shredded once the information is recorded on our '21-'22 parent roster. Without the proof of vaccination or a current negative covid test, parents will not be able to attend their child(ren)'s conference(s).

We are well underway for this year's walk-a-thon and are grateful to families who have already pledged and/or donated through PledgeStar - we have raised over $12,300! Let’s keep this going and continue to add friends and family contacts into PledgeStar. Receive a free dress pass for entering 10 or more contacts into your child’s profile. Reminder - the info packet is available for download from the St. Anne’s website (stanne.com/2021/03/5k-walk-2021) and below. You will need to complete your child’s permission form on the last page of this packet.

We are still needing chaperones for K, 4th and 5th grades and crossing guards for grades K-7 (grades 1 & 8 are full). Please consider volunteering to ensure the safety for these classes with the appropriate adult to child ratio, and especially when each class crosses the street. Crossing guards get to wear a cool neon orange vest and sport a stop sign to direct your designated class while crossing the street. All volunteers receive a commemorative t-shirt so sign up today through SignUp.com (link is at the bottom of St. Anne’s website).

Dec 10 - Deadline for match gifts to arrive; submit match requests ASAP to ensure your employer has time to process and send payment to St. Anne

Our parent tours for parents considering placing their child/children here for the 2022-2023 school year began today. Our next Parent Tour will take place tomorrow, September 30. I am offering both in-person as well as Zoom Parent Tours to interested families this year. The dates of both types of tours can be found on our school's website as well as the flier. Interested families should contact the school office. If you know of a family member or have friends looking for a warm family oriented school, please share the dates for them to visit and tour our school.

With the flu and cold season starting, I wanted to thank everyone for your conscientious attitude in keeping your child home if s/he is not feeling well. We want to keep your child and every child from getting sick. We appreciate everyone's thoughtfulness about not sending your child to school if s/he is not feeling well. AGAIN, PLEASE REMEMBER....if your child has ANY of the COVID symptoms, DO NOT send your child to school. Per the San Francisco Department of Public Health's guidelines, you should have your child tested if your child exhibits COVID symptoms. Also you might want to call your child's doctor for any additional concerns you might have. THANKS FOR YOUR ONGOING SUPPORT!

Volunteer for the St. Anne Yearbook team. We could use some parents

to help take photos of school events, sports games, and design the yearbook.
