Welcome back, Rosemont family! I am excited to introduce myself as the Principal of Rosemont Lower and welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. I am eagerly counting down the days until the first day of school, when we get to open our doors and hear our little bison learning and laughing! I am looking forward to getting to know you all better this year and seeing you this week at our Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday, August 9th.

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo, familia Rosemont! Estoy emocionada de presentarme como la directora de Rosemont Lower y darles la bienvenida al año escolar 2023-2024. ¡Estoy contando ansiosamente los días para el primer día de clases, cuando podamos abrir nuestras puertas y escuchar a nuestros pequeños bisontes aprender y reír! Espero conocerlos mejor a todos este año y verlos esta semana en nuestra Noche para conocer al maestro el miércoles 9 de agosto!

Welcome everyone back for a great year of learning and growing! While we are still a few days away from greeting students, the staff is already preparing to welcome our Bison to our temporary home. Just as our physical structure undergoes a makeover, the Rosemont community is building on past success and constructing an even stronger future. I am thrilled to lead the dynamic and talented staff to serve you and your students at Rosemont Upper. Even during the transitions of leadership and construction in the building, this community has shown an outpouring of support; we estimate that well over 300 people attended our Meet the Principal/Campus tour event last week. Together, we’ll continue to provide rich opportunities for every student, every day.

As you plan for the upcoming year, remember that our instructional hours are 8:15am-3:35pm. The building opens at 7:45am for breakfast. Also, mark your calendars for Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, August 10th at Upper campus. Third grade families are invited to Meet the Teacher on Wednesday, August 9th at Lower campus. You can expect a Rosemont Upper Transportation packet at Meet the Teacher and electronic follow-up communication sent on Friday, August 11. The entire Rosemont staff and myself look forward to seeing you and your students again soon! Together, we charge forward and create the foundation and framework for our students’ futures!

¡Bienvenidos a todos a un gran año de aprendizaje y crecimiento! Todavía estamos a unos días de recibir a los estudiantes, el personal ya se está preparando para recibir a nuestros bisontes en nuestro hogar temporal. Así como nuestra estructura física se somete a un cambio de imagen, la comunidad de Rosemont se basa en el éxito del pasado y construye un futuro aún más sólido. Estoy encantada de dirigir el personal dinámico y talentoso para servirles a ustedes y a sus estudiantes en Rosemont Upper. Incluso durante las transiciones de liderazgo y construcción en el edificio, esta comunidad ha mostrado una gran cantidad de apoyo; estimamos que más de 300 personas asistieron a nuestro evento de gira Meet the Principal/Campus la semana pasada. Juntos, continuaremos brindando ricas oportunidades para cada estudiante, todos los días. Mientras planifica para el próximo año, recuerde que nuestro horario de instrucción es de 8:15 a. m. a 3:35 p. m. El edificio abre a las 7:45 am para el desayuno. Además, marque sus calendarios para el evento conocer al maestro/a el jueves 10 de agosto en el campus superior. Las familias de tercer grado están invitadas a conocer al maestro el miércoles 9 de agosto en el campus inferior.
