Thank You for Your Cooperation with Our Uniform Policy
Dear Franklin Families,
We wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your cooperation with our school's uniform policy. It's been wonderful to see our students looking great in their uniforms, and we truly appreciate the support you've shown in upholding this policy.
As a reminder, our uniform policy is mandatory for all students, and all uniforms must be purchased from our approved vendor, iUniforms.com. This ensures that all students have access to the correct uniform attire and helps maintain a sense of unity and pride within our school community.
Once again, thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us maintain our uniform policy. We look forward to continuing this positive collaboration for the benefit of our students and the entire school community.
Wishing you a wonderful long weekend and for those who celebrate Yom Kippur, we wish you a meaningful and reflective observance.
All the Best,
Mrs. L'Etoile

September IB Learner Profile Attribute of the Month: Courageous
What is the Primary Years Programme?
The PYP is a curriculum framework for elementary students. Like all International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, the IB learner profile permeates all facets of school life in the PYP.
The PYP is based on the recognition of a child’s natural curiosity, creativity and ability to reflect. It generates a stimulating, challenging learning environment to nurture the whole child and foster a lifelong love of learning for all. The PYP is transdisciplinary, meaning students learn across subject areas while inquiring into big ideas.
To help welcome and/or transition students into the IB program, all Kindergarten through 5th grade students begin the school year with IB Boot Camp. The activities are designed to help seamlessly guide students into understanding the mission and experience an inquiry-based curriculum. Below are pictures of our life-long learners at work!

Important Reminder: Uniform Policy Adherence
We would like to take a moment to remind everyone about the importance of adhering to our school's uniform policy.
Our uniform policy plays a crucial role in maintaining a focused and disciplined learning environment, and it helps instill a sense of unity and pride among our students. To ensure that these objectives are met, we kindly request your cooperation in ensuring that your child is in proper uniform when attending school.
We are now enforcing the uniform policy, and students found out of uniform will receive infractions. We believe this step is necessary to uphold the standards we have set for our school community.
We understand that there may be instances where items are on back order. In such cases, we kindly request that you send an email to Mrs. L'Etoile at letoile.alison@franklin-academy.org with either the iUniforms receipt for the items you've ordered or an email confirmation indicating that the items are on back order. This will help us keep track of any delays and ensure that students are not penalized for circumstances beyond their control.
Please remember that all uniform items must be purchased through iUniforms to maintain consistency in quality and design. http://www.iuniforms.com/
We greatly appreciate your support and understanding in this matter.
Arrival Procedures- Tardy Policy Implementation
We are enforcing our policy regarding tardiness. We believe that punctuality is an important value to instill in our students, as it not only contributes to their academic success but also prepares them for their future responsibilities.
Under this policy, any student arriving late to school (7:30 AM for Elementary students and 8:30 AM for Middle School Students) will be marked as tardy. Parents will be required to park their vehicle and report to the front office to sign in your child. You will be required to bring in your ID to scan it through Raptor to record the tardy. We understand that there can be occasional circumstances beyond anyone's control, and in such cases, please ensure that you communicate the reason for the tardiness with the school office as soon as possible.
