THERE ARE A FEW STAFF CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENTS...

We wish to welcome Mr. Craig Dimond as the Principal of Bashaw School for the 2023-24 school year. Mr. Dimond is a long-term resident of Bashaw and former principal of Bashaw School.


Mrs. Shawna Johnson will continue in her role as Assistant Principal.


Mrs. Krysta Rathwell will be moving to Forestburg School next year as Principal.


Welcome to our new Family School Liaison Worker, Krista Lantz who will be at Bashaw School on Mondays and Wednesdays starting next week.


Mrs. Aimee Cripps has begun her teaching career, and has left her position as Administrative Assistant at Bashaw School.


We welcome Mrs. Dawna Andriatz who is now filling this Administrative Assistant, and will be able to answer all your finance questions.

CHILDREN ENTERING KINDERGARTEN IN THE FALL ARE INVITED.... Wednesday, June 7 3:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Next School Council will be in June!

Due to many families busy with fieldwork, sports, and the upcoming graduation, School Council has been cancelled this month. We will have the final meeting of the year in June.

From BRSD...

Early Learning registration is in full swing in Battle River.


Our Success Starts Early events for Pre-K and Kindergarten in Battle River will be taking place over the next couple of weeks. Students who have registered will be contacted to book scheduled times to meet their teacher and get oriented to the school. Those not registered are still welcome to drop in during the school's scheduled times. See the school websites or local media for more information on school dates and times for these events.


Some of our pre-kindergarten programs (Sparling, Jack Stuart, Sifton and CW Sears) are reaching capacity. If you or someone you know has not yet registered for Pre-K they should do so as soon as possible. Once programs reach capacity students will be put on a waitlist. Parents will be contacted once we have determined whether we have the ability to add additional programs.
