A Note from Our Principal, Mrs. Holmes
The holidays give us an opportunity to pause our busy lives and reflect on our proud accomplishments. The season offers us a chance to say “thank you” to the entire school community for all of the support that you provide to our students, our families, and our staff.
Our school community has worked selflessly to make a positive difference for families in need. I want to give a huge shout out to our PTA and Candice Hairston for our wonderful $2500 grant that allowed 25 families to receive $100 gift cards from Target. I want to thank one of our students, Ashley Kinsey, who is working to provide shelter and resources to animals during the cold winter months. Thank you to all of our school club leaders and community members who are working to supply food during this holiday season. Rosebud Elementary, with tremendous help of our amazing administrator, Monique Hann, will also finish our charitable donations to United Way. United Way is an organization that funds many different charities and supports families in need. The holiday season reminds us of what it means to show our love and support. I am truly appreciative of the staff, students, and community members who make up the Rosebud family.
I have witnessed our Rosebud community come together as a true family to celebrate and support each other, never losing sight of our purpose… the children. At this time, I want to thank you for all that you have done and all that you will do in the coming year.
Mrs. Holmes
