COVID-19 Dashboard
The District 41 COVID Dashboard is a way for the public to monitor both the number of positive covid cases reported for students and staff as well as the number of people quarantined in the district due to close contact with someone who has tested positive. The dashboard will be updated every Monday by the end of the day.
Virtual Family Science Engagement Night
District 41 will be hosting a district-wide virtual K-5 Family Science Engagement Night on December 2, from 6 - 7 pm. District 41 Problem-Based Learning Coach Nick Papineau will be walking K-5 families and students through what science looks like in D41. Some approaches that will be presented include:
Working on science literacy and skills at home
Facilitating an engineering task for families
Talking about how the engineering design process is used here in Glen Ellyn with a guest speaker from the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Willowbrook Wildlife Center
Participants will need about (20) 3”x5” note cards, a measuring tape or stick, and are encouraged to have writing materials to take any notes that you want to take or questions you might develop during the evening. This will be a great opportunity to do a fun virtual science event with your child/children from the comfort of your home!
To participate visit www.d41.org/sciencenight on December 2 at 6 p.m. Use passcode 504294
