February Newsletter
Trails Families,
As we jump into the month of February, we wanted to take a moment to connect with you regarding the importance of regular attendance and to share some exciting upcoming events at our school (see flyers below for events).
Regular attendance is a critical factor in your child's academic success and overall well-being. When students attend school consistently:
*They are more likely to succeed academically by staying engaged in classroom discussions, activities, and assignments.
*They develop important social skills through interactions with peers and participation in group projects and activities.
*They establish positive habits that will benefit them throughout their lives, including punctuality and responsibility.
*They maximize the opportunities for learning and growth that our dedicated teachers and staff provide each day.
We recognize that occasional absences due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances are a part of life. However, we encourage you to make every effort to ensure that your child attends school regularly and arrives on time. If your child needs to be absent, please remember to notify the school office as soon as possible.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We look forward to a wonderful month ahead filled with learning, growth, and meaningful experiences. As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to support you and your child in any way we can.

Attendance Matters!!
Please remember how important it is to have your child attend school each day for the full day when possible. During the school day a number of interventions occur that allow students to engage in small group learning and re-teaching opportunities. Because these interventions occur in half-hour chunks, if a student is absent the re-teaching or the small group opportunity is missed. We realize that there are times when appointments need to be made during the school day, please make them as close to the end of the day or beginning of the day if possible.
We recognize that each day of learning is a step toward a brighter future. At our school, we understand that consistent attendance is not just a routine but a crucial foundation for academic achievement and personal growth. Whether in the classroom or in life, showing up consistently shapes our success. PLEASE VISIT MPS ATTENDANCE SITE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
🚗Car Drop-Off and Pick-Up🚗
❤️❤️ THANK YOU for pulling your vehicle up as far as possible and for having your car rider tag visible!! It's greatly appreciated!!! ❤️❤️
*When dropping off or picking up students, all vehicles MUST use the car rider lane located off of Czech Hall road. The front drive of the school is for school buses, daycare vans, and handicapped students. If you do not have a School Issued Pink handicapped tag you will be stopped when trying to enter the front drive during arrival (7:15-7:45) and dismissal (2:15-2:45). *All vehicles MUST go through the drop off/pick up line. Vehicles SHOULD NOT park unless you are going into the school with your child. If you need to park, please park on the east side of the school in a parking place.
When dropping off or picking up in the car rider line, please pull as far forward as possible so we can accommodate as many cars/students as possible at a time. Our goal is to make the car line as efficient as possible while keeping all students safe.
