Here are some ideas:
1: Deep Sea Dive
Different sea creatures are found at different depths. Explore how deep you can
go here https://neal.fun/deep-sea/ (The site is Amercan so doesn’t use British spelling of metres)
Find one creatures and make a Chatta story to share your knowledge.
2: Choose one of the creatures and describe it in detail. So, if it is a polar bear describe it’s appearance, find out where it lives, what it eats and any other interesting facts.
You could make as many stories as you like with Chatta. If you want to turn any of them into a piece of writing explaining things - go for it ( but you don't have to!)
Activity for younger children:
Rainbow Fish Painting
Draw an outline of a fish or any other underwater creature. Your child could print the scales, using pieces of celery dipped in colourful paint. Take a photo of their finished picture. Add the image to Chatta and describe the painting and how it was made.
