Bell Schedule 2022-2023

Changes for 2022-2023

School doors will open at 7:30AM each day.

- Students will not be allowed to enter the building until 7:30AM. Please do not drop your

student off and leave them unattended before the doors open.

Class will begin at 8:00AM.

- It is expected that all students are in class by 8:00AM.

Dismissal will begin at 3:05PM.

- It is expected that all students be picked up no later than 3:30PM.

New Dallas ISD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Elizalde welcomes back students early

CBS DFW DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - It may be an early end to summer, but students entering Edna Rowe Elementary School in Dallas ISD paid no mind. There were smiles ear-to-ear on Aug. 1 as students walked through a balloon arch entrance.

The first day of school at Edna Rowe - one of three "first" days in DISD - was filled with hugs and fist bumps, Encanto backpacks and colorful balloon towers.

Back to School: Year begins for students in 5 Dallas ISD schools

It's the first day of school for a handful of schools in the Dallas Independent School District. It's also the first day for the district's new superintendent. Five schools in Dallas ISD began their school year Monday. They are on what's called the school day redesign schedule, which gives them an extra five weeks of instruction.

School Uniforms and Groceries Assistance

Free school uniforms. Inspired Vision Compassion Center has given to about 2000 children, but still has uniforms left to give (while supplies last).

Child must be present to receive uniforms. If you do not have a Shoppers Scan Card., bring an ID and proof of address, and come to the office and register.

While there you can grab groceries.

Food distributions are Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. The student does not have to be with the Guardian to receive food.
