Principal's Message...
Finals week is in the books and grades for our MS and HS students should show up on Tuesday morning. Congratulations to our students, parents, and teachers. It marks the 1/4 mark of the school year. Wow, that was quick!
Our PTA had a big week. Included below are details on our new spiritwear, Trunk or Treat event which we still need volunteers to offer up their trunks, and our Maverick 180 campaign. Please support TC and PTA but doing whatever you can.
Just another reminder, If you haven't had a chance, please join us at the Dino Dash this year on Halloween, Sunday, October 31st. It's an awesome event and we'd love to get a group together. You can enroll at www.tpsf.net and TC gets $10 every enrollment.

Elementary Information
In-Person Instruction: As a reminder, if you'd like to begin to have your student attend in-person, please notify your classroom teacher and we are happy to accommodate the request.
Grade 3-8 Planners: Student Planners arrived on Monday for the 21-22 school year. Please be sure to come by the office to pick one up. They not only include the school policies, but they are also a great organizational tool for students and families.
Middle School Information
Student Planners: Be sure to pick up your student planners. They are available now in the front office at the B Street Campus. Students are encouraged to review the policies including in the first pages of the planner as well as use it as an organizational and planning tool for their work.
Paper 24/7 Tutoring for All MS Students: Please be sure to take advantage of the 24/7 virtual online tutoring available to all MS students in support of all of their classes. The service is offered to all 6-12 TUSD students. Here is a how-to form to get you started. To get started, simply visit PAPER’s student login page, type your school’s name, and log in via Google using your school credentials.
High School Information
Check Your Schedule for Quarter 2: Congrats on completion of Quarter 1. With the beginning of Quarter 2, it's important that you check your schedule of classes. Please take a look so you can plan your schedule accordingly.
TUSD Virtual College and Career Fair: The TUSD Virtual College and Career Fair is November 2 and 3, 4-8 pm!

PTA's Weekly Rundown!
Hello Maverick Parents,
Here’s your PTA rundown for the week. You can access all the following information by visiting TustinConnectPTA.com.
We’ve begun our Maverick 180 Fall Fundraiser. Please consider donating a dollar a day so PTA can reach its goal of $5000.00 for the year. Funds donated to support student programs and subscriptions for teacher resources, family/community events and include PTA membership. This is done through the PTA website. This will run through October.
Trunk or Treat schoolwide event. This is a very fun event for families! Reserve a spot, decorate your trunk supply your treats to hand out, and enjoy the festivities. Awards go to Best decorated car and costume. Food, drinks, and more.
Get your SUPER-AWESOME SPIRIT WEAR. Spirit wear is available for purchase throughout the month of October.

National Art Competition – Reflections is a nationwide PTA art competition. This year’s theme is: I WILL CHANGE THE WORLD” Annually, thousands of students will reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, 2D Visual Arts, and 3D Visual Arts. PTA volunteers run the Reflections program at local (school), council, region, and state levels.
This is such a great way for students to be recognized and celebrated for their artistic talents. Every Participant will receive recognition.
