Welcome to a New School Year
Our Meadow Brook Staff is thrilled to have you back!
Welcome Back Meadow Brook Family!
Welcome back to a new school year! I hope you have had a wonderful summer and that you are feeling relaxed, recharged, and ready to begin a new year.
My summer has gone by way too fast. I was able to spend a few weeks in Colorado with my family in the mountains, hot springs, sand dunes, and on the golf course …nothing beats family time!
I want to give a special shout out to our incredible custodial staff for making our school shine and to our wonderful secretaries for getting through registration. Before becoming a principal, I am not sure I appreciated the magnitude of these responsibilities— I am grateful for their hard work and positivity. I also want to thank our team leaders for the work they put into creating a plan to move our school forward.
As a leadership team, we decided that our focus for the year will be to Enjoy the Ride! As we intentionally look for the good, bring fun into what we do, and develop an attitude of gratitude, we will find greater joy and satisfaction in what we do. Throughout this school year, our Mustang staff will have the opportunity to collectively and individually strengthen our Comprehensive Mathematics Instruction (CMI) and to learn the LETRS Pedagogy.
Last year, COVID made everything a bit more challenging for everyone, but it proved just how resilient and gritty this community is! There is not a community I would rather work with during these challenging times. I feel immensely blessed and humbled to serve with such incredible students, parents, committed educators, secretaries, custodians, lunch workers, and technicians who work hard to bless the lives of children! I am very excited about the new teammates we’ve added— I am confident that their individual experiences and talents will add depth and wisdom to our Mustang team!
I am looking forward to another great year at Meadow Brook! Enjoy the last few weeks of summer. Life is a journey, let's ENJOY THE RIDE!
