Wear ORANGE this Wednesday!
Unity Day, the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, has been recognized in the United States since 2011. To participate in Unity Day, individuals, schools, communities, and businesses wear or share orange to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent students being bullied.
Unfortunately bullying remains a problem in all schools across the country. Bullying makes students feel unwelcome and unsafe. Here in Indiana we want to create a culture in which each and everyone of our schools is somewhere our students feel not only safe, but valued and respected.
We are truly better together!
IUP Youth Day - October 22 at 2pm - TICKET information
IUP and the Indiana Area School District are excited to celebrate Indiana Community Day this Saturday, October 22 when the undefeated IUP football team hosts Seton Hill. IASD students in grades K-8 can receive one (1) free ticket to get into the game. Tickets will be distributed by homeroom teachers.
Parents, family members and friends are also invited to the game but will have to make arrangements to purchase their own tickets at the gate.
Participating students and families are encouraged to wear either IUP or IASD attire and should plan to get to the game early to avoid lines.
