Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 24th is picture retake day. If your child was absent on our original picture day, they will have their picture taken tomorrow. If you received your child's original photo order and you were not happy with it, please send the original order to school with them and we will have their picture taken again. Please call the school office at 616-252-2030 with any questions.

On Tuesday October 31st, we will be having our Annual Harvest Festival! Students will be participating in a lot of fun activities including crafts, games, a hayride and a petting zoo. Please be sure your child is dressed for the weather that day as we will be in and outside. Also, NO COSTUMES are allowed at school. If parents are wishing to volunteer, please complete the volunteer forms that were sent home with your child. You must be an approved volunteer to participate.

Thank you to everyone that was able to attend Parent Teacher Conferences this past week. It was so great to get to see so many of you! Your child will be bringing home their report card on Friday, October 27th, so please look for it in their backpack!

We have one more week to sell the delicious pies and baked goods from Frandale for our school fundraiser! All money raised will go to support special projects at school. Any student that sells one item will receive a full size candy bar and there will be a gift card for the top seller of each grade level. Keep selling those pies and goodies! Completed order forms and money are due back at school on Monday, October 30th.

We are pleased to be able to offer Kids' Food Basket sack suppers and Hand2Hand weekend meals again this year to all students that choose to have one. A note was sent home with your child to participate in receiving food from these programs. Please return the notes to your child's teacher if you would like your child to bring home a sack supper daily or receive a free weekend meal from Hand2Hand.

Parents, if your child has medication that needs to be taken during school hours, we will first need this form filled out by the parent and the doctor. Medication will not be given unless this form is provided. Please do not send medication with your child. you can contact the office for more information.

Drop-Off -Students can be dropped off in the rear lot off of 36th street between 8:15 am and 8:30 am. Staff will call you forward to the flag and open the door for your student.

For safety, we ask that you and your student remain in your vehicle until staff directs you to the drop-off area. Please have your child’s coat on and additional items ready prior to pulling into the drop-off zone.

Pick-Up- Students can be picked up in the rear lot off 36th street at 3:30 pm. Please remember to have your student information sign at your window.

Please pay close attention to security officers and staff directing traffic daily. For safety please follow directions of staff during pick-up and drop-off and practice slow speeds through the student drop-off pick-up zone.

Please observe the Right Turn Only Sign as you exit the parking lot. Attempts to turn left have resulted in some extremely close calls when entering traffic on 36th street.
