Welcome Back! Let the Learning and Teamwork Continue in 2024!
Dear Anderson Families,
As we eagerly embark on the second half of the school year, we are ready to work hard and learn as much as possible. Anticipating the enthusiasm, energy, and spirit they bring, our dedicated teachers spent Monday immersed in learning, reviewing data, and planning for the continued growth of your child.
To ensure a smooth transition, here are a few important reminders and tips:
Snow Day Communication: In the event of inclement weather leading to a "Snow Day," rest assured you will be notified promptly through email, text, and a phone call. Stay tuned and keep your cell phone charged.
Chromebook Charging: Kindly remind your student to charge their Chromebook tonight. Even if it wasn't used over the break, a full charge is advisable for seamless functionality.
Winter Play Preparations: With the anticipation of snow, children will still enjoy outdoor recess. Ensure your child is equipped with warm coats and accessories. For snow play, they MUST HAVE snowpants, snow boots, and mittens or gloves. These items can be brought in an extra bag. If your child wears boots to school, ensure they have shoes to change into. Gym shoes stored at school are also acceptable. Additionally, practice with your child on zipping, buttoning, and putting on all winter gear.
Backpack Check: Take a moment to check your child's backpack, unpack their folder, remove any old workbooks, and dispose of old snacks and lunches. Your diligence in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Healthy Habits: Encourage your child to go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight and ensure they start the day with a healthy breakfast. Let's collectively set our kids up for SUCCESS!
Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to a fantastic second half of the school year.
Mr. Jarot

D303 Information about Inclement Weather procedures
From the District - Infomation for Parents with Preschool aged students
District 303 is pleased to present its lineup of Parent Education sessions for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Parent Education series (formerly Parent University) includes informational meetings and workshops intended to empower parents and guardians to support their children’s academic, social and emotional needs. Become informed on specialized topics, engage in two-way dialogue with speakers and fellow parents, and become a support resource for others.
Sessions for this school year will focus on bullying prevention, addressing anxiety, and include film screenings and discussions about the impact of screen time and cultural awareness. The schedule also includes college preparation workshops hosted by our high schools. Sessions were selected based in part on feedback from District 303 parents.
Explore the full lineup of sessions here. Signup forms for each session will be made available closer to the session dates. New this year, you can also register for Parent Education notifications and receive alerts as new information and session recaps become available.
