Worthy Student Nominations open Friday
The Bozeman Schools Foundation is now accepting nominations for Worthy Student Scholarships. Students are encouraged to nominate members of the class of 2024 who have made a significant contribution to the culture and community of GHS during their time as students. Worthy Students Scholars are kind, honest, and respectful. They may have overcome personal hardship or demonstrated perseverance, integrity, and good character while pursuing their goals. While many past Worthy Students have been school leaders and athletes, these scholarships are not awarded based on a student’s grades or achievements - but in recognition of personal integrity and a commitment to their school community.
Students, be on the lookout in your school email to nominate a peer!
After Prom Seeking Donations
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, After Prom: May the Fourth Be With You will provide a safe, entertaining, and inclusive event. Students can win fabulous prizes like a TV, computer, paddle board, electric scooter, cash and so much more! To help us ensure we deliver an amazing event, please consider making a generous, tax-deductible cash donation for the purchase of prizes, food, and entertainment. Smiles Across Montana - Dental Clinic Opportunity
Smiles Across Montana is a non-profit mobile dental clinic that will be coming to GHS to provide dental care to students and staff on January 30th-February 1st. They provide dental care for anyone who is struggling to receive regular dental care for any reason at all. They have dental hygienists come with all of the equipment they need to provide preventive and diagnostic oral health care such as oral exams, digital x-rays, prophylactic cavity treatment, and preventive dental sealants. They also have an extensive referral system to help students and staff find a dentist in the community, if needed. They take dental insurance, and have a scholarship fund that pays for services when families can’t.
The consent form is linked here, and paper copies can be found at the Attendance window and the Nurse Office. Completed consent forms should be turned into the Main Office or to the School Nurse as soon as possible. Please click here to view the Smiles Across Montana website to learn more about this great organization. We hope to see you there!
