Like many distribution companies, our yearbook publisher (Walsworth Publishing) is experiencing printing and distribution delays due to worker shortages. The current projection for our books to be delivered is mid -June. We will keep families informed through school announcements with updated information regarding distribution. Walsworth has sent Autograph Supplements for students to gather signatures for their yearbook. If you ordered a yearbook, you can pick up your Autograph Supplement in the main office. The Autograph Supplement has adhesive so it can be taped into the yearbook when they arrive.
Online orders for the yearbook have closed. There is a wait list for any extras that we receive. to get your name on the wait list, you need to send a check for $85 made out to Walsworth yearbooks to the main office. Questions? Contact Maria Brandel.

See the specific instructions for releasing your final transcript here.
Upcoming College, University and Military Visits
Students should stop by the Counseling Office and get a pass to attend the college/university/military Rep Visit prior to the right visit. The visits are small group meetings typically lasting 20/30 minutes. These admission reps are often times the same people that review college applications, so it's a great connection for students.

VARSITY SPORTS
Eastview High School Varsity Baseball falls to Lakeville North 9-7 (May 30)
The Lightning Varsity Baseball team lost to Lakeville North in the first round of section play 9-7. The Lightning pounded out 12 hits and scored 6 of their 7 runs in the backhalf of the ball game. Offensively, the Lightning were led by a pair of 2 run homers from Nick Brandt. Cooper DeSutter chipped in with 3 hits and leadoff hitter Louie Rogers had two hits as well.
The Lightning will be back in action on Wednesday at home against Burnsville.
ARTS, ACTIVITIES & CLUBS
This weekend, the Eastview Speech Team competed at the National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) Grand National Speech and Debate Tournament, held in Washington D.C. This year, 1600 students from 420 different schools (representing 30 states) participated. For it's cumulative effort, the Eastview Speech Team was awarded the Daniel S. Masterson Award of Excellence in Forensics. This award is given to the top five schools at the tournament based on both speech and debate entry performance; Eastview did not have any debate entries at the tournament, so this is an especially impressive accomplishment.
A special congratulations to Eastview's three national finalists at this event:
Nate Krekeler & Morgan Oksendahl - 3rd Place (out of 146 entries), Duo Interpretation
Rhea Rajvansh - 3rd Place (out of 176 entries), Extemporaneous Speaking
In addition, congratulations to the following entries that advanced to elimination rounds:
Semifinalists - Top 12
Faye Zhang - Extemporaneous Speaking
Quarterfinalists - Top 24
Zoe Champ - Oral Interpretation of Literature
Cailin Mayotte - Dramatic Performance
Tia Rao - Declamation
Mary Rezcallah - Oral Interpretation of Literature
Octafinalists - Top 48
Olivia Brothers & Angel Dominguez - Duo Interpretation
Max Espena - Declamation
Allie Nathan - Extemporaneous Speaking
Elisabeth Nielsen - Extemporaenous Speaking
The team was also well represented by Neal Rajvansh in Declamation. In June, qualified members of the Eastview Speech and Debate Team will head to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) National Tournament.
