Cooper Landing School Updates
Halloween
Students may wear their Halloween costumes to school tomorrow. In the afternoon, we will be having a Halloween Party! If you would like to bring a treat for students to share, please drop it off Tuesday morning.
Angel Bond has been putting together a list of homes/businesses who asked to be on the list for trick-or-treaters. She will drop off the list on Tuesday and we will send it home with the kids.
PAC Officers
We are in need of a PAC president, secretary, and treasurer. It sometimes becomes difficult to conduct the business of the PAC without officers. Please consider volunteering.
Swags
Yes, we are having our swag fundraiser this year to benefit the Student Activity Fund! Price is $25 each. Please email Donna at dtucker@kpbsd.org or call 595-1244 to order yours. No need to pre pay. Pickup will be just before Thanksgiving. Thanks for your support!

Hope School Happenings
We have so many things happening in our community over the next few months. Please make sure you check with our Post Master's Board for current fun events in Hope. Also, check out the Hope School facebook page for announcements. Did you know we have a parent board in our lobby with important information from the district, school employees and PTO? Please always feel free to speak with our staff for information you may need in relation to Hope School or our School District. We are always here to help facilitate the best learning environment possible.
I has been said that kindness is a source which comes from wisdom, patience is a virtue and hearing to listen is key to understanding. We are spreading positive words through our school. Each of us are trying to explain what is reasonable and what is unreasonable behaviors. Sometimes, it is the best lessons of the day when we discover how kindness can be a worthy part of the equation of school behavior and life skills.
Mr. McKibben has been on a Math Mountain with all of your students. It would appear they are having fun with numbers this week in a new way for many of the younger students. We do not know how he makes numbers a learning game so well. However, they are all in his room as we speak making mountains out of number problems. Last week it was fractions of all types and many interesting ways. So be prepared to be challenged as they start to do their math for you.
Mrs. Peck is working with the students on studies about Ancient History studies. This week is an interesting study of Empires and the silk road. Ask your students to tell you some facts about these two items this week. History is not a mystery to these students. They see it more as an informational journey and it is! Our new technology from the District for our classrooms has made their studies more up to date and easier to access information.
TOT TIME IS BACK TUESDAY AND THURSDAY EACH WEEK
