Superintendent Community Update
February 8, 2024
Superintendent's Message
Dear JUHSD Community,
What an eventful week it has been! From facing the storm and power outages to condensing a five-day week into four, I express my gratitude to the staff of JUHSD for consistently embracing challenges, while providing safe spaces for our students. Thanks, also, to my cabinet and the maintenance department, who helped us to navigate and weather this stormy week!
A special acknowledgment goes to the Westmoor High School administration, staff, and students for their flexibility, as we canceled school due to lack of power. Happy we were able to be on site for one day this week!
Lunar New Year
All district sites will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 9, in observance of Lunar New Year. JUHSD celebrates our diversity and appreciates the cultures that make up our community. To learn about Lunar New Year events taking place in the Bay Area, scroll below!
Have an exciting three-day/Super Bowl weekend and we will see you back on campus February 12.
Warmly,
Toni Presta
