1. Thursday, May 26th = FINAL STUDENT DAY of the 2021-2022 School Year!

2. Report Cards will be available on Wednesday, June 1st after 1:00 p.m. You can access these through your PowerSchool Parent Portal.

3. School Office Hours are 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. weekdays until June 19th. The GCJHS office will be closed for Summer Break from June 20th - July 18th. We will reopen again July 19th from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m..

6. Onsite Registration for the 2022-2023 GCCSC school year will take place on Jul 21, 2022 from noon - 7pm at 700 N. Broadway.

8. Check out the letter in the download section for more information . . . .Your student participated in the ILEARN assessments for English/Language Arts and Mathematics, Grade 7 or 8, during the 2021-22 test window. In accordance with Indiana Code 20-32-5. 1-13, parents and schools must have an opportunity to review and/or request a rescore for any eligible open-ended item(s) which students responded to on the ILEARN assessment.

9. CLASS SCHEDULING INFO for current 7th Graders can be found below.

Many of our 8th graders have not completed all of the necessary steps needed to take in order to be completely registered for and enrolled in summer school classes. Please make sure you have completed ALL of the following steps for your summer school classes. Counselors will not approve your Indiana Online classes until you have done all of these steps.

1.) Complete the Google Form that is linked in your "Class of" Google Classroom.

2.) Pay for your class(es) unless you qualify for free or reduced lunch and we can confirm that.

3.) Register with Indiana Online if you are taking any online classes (indianaonline.org).

4.) Enroll for your classes through Indiana Online if you are taking any online classes-check your email to make sure you set your password.

5.) If you are taking online PE through Indiana Online, please make sure you complete the PE waiver once your class has been approved by your counselor.

We have many students who are only partially through this process and will not be able to start either onsite PE on May 31 or begin their online classes on June 6 with Indiana Online. Counselors have been emailing students if they are missing steps so please make sure they are reading all of their GC emails. Thank you!
