LnHS Update February 8th
No School Monday, Feb. 12th
Dear Lancaster High School Eagle Families
Short update this week as we leave one short week to enter into an extended weekend. Please note the upcoming alerts to our calendar for the next two weeks as we have two holidays on the horizon. Before we all begin... we may not all agree on who we wanted to win the SuperBowl... but I think we can ALL AGREE, anyone but the 49ers!!
Next week is Kindness Week. What a wonderful opportunity to show kindness. Celebrate Kindness Week by spreading joy! Share uplifting notes, perform random acts of kindness, and express gratitude. Small gestures make a big impact, fostering a positive community. Let's create a week filled with kindness together!
If you are a senior or parent of a senior, deadlines are looming. Make sure you check the information below to make sure you don't miss out on any opportunities.

Community Ambassadors for Peace
We are excited to introduce our students and families to our Community Ambassadors of Peace, a part of the HELPER Foundation, a student support organization we have been working with over the past few years. This team will assist us before school and after school as we continue to support our students in their safe passage to and from school. We appreciate the many support staff who strive to create the most positive experience for your student as possible.
Eagle Family and Student Winter Survey
Your voice is crucial in shaping the future of our school community! We invite you to participate in our Climate Survey, where your insights will help us understand the positives and areas for growth.
Your feedback is invaluable in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts by completing the survey. Your input makes a difference! We appreciate you and want to hear from you as we have been working hard to build off your feedback from last year.

You can order through Jostens, from our student store or directly from Ms. Mendoza in accounting in-person or via telephone. You must order through Jostens if you want personalizations, icons or any other extras.

At-School Live Tutoring
VIRTUAL *LIVE* Tutoring (Virtual Tutoring with a Live Person)
Did you know that your student has LIVE 24 HOUR FREE tutoring available in your student's PowerSchool? Our district has partnered with Princeton Review to provide every student with this amazing service. Your student can be connected with a tutor in any subject any time of the day, for FREE. These are not videos, they are live, vetted, tutors. Think of Uber, but for tutoring! The tutors will even edit papers for your student with less than a 24 hour turn-a-round period.
The easiest way to access this free, live, virtual tutoring, is to have your student log into google with their school account, log into Power School, look on the left side of the screen and find the live tutor button, and follow the easy to follow directions from there. If you need assistance, CLICK HERE or the button below for a tutorial.
