At Westgate our motto is Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Respectful. As a school community we are working hard to building a safe and inclusive environment. Teachers utilize the RULER program to help students learn to identify their emotions and solve conflicts. Our staff Behavior Team meets regularly to discuss and plan activities that enable students to practice making positive choices.

For the month of January, we are focusing on demonstrating respect. The videos below were shown to students during the morning announcements this week. Please click on the videos to learn about our expectations and how we can show respect in the lunchroom, at recess and in the bathroom!

Beginning January 20, please look out for a personalized email that will contain the directions on how your student can register for the language they wish to take in 6th grade.

ABC/25 Foundation invites you to a hands-on forensic science STEM assembly, CRIME SCENE SCIENCE, presented by MobileEd!

Date: Monday, 1/16/23 (non-attendance day)

Time: Four 45 minute sessions available, sessions start at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM

Cost: Free for ABC/25 household member students! $10 per participant for non-members.
