Eastview WIN Time on Wednesday Afternoons in the Learning Commons
Every Wednesday students can benefit from an opportunity for academic support from 2:45pm – 4:15pm in the Learning Commons. Students are supported to complete their schoolwork learning in a supervised setting. Faculty and staff are available along with upper-class peer tutors (especially skilled in Mathematics). Students will identify their priorities (“What I Need” or “What’s Important Now”), create a plan for the most efficient use of their time, celebrate their accomplishments, and leave with a plan for continued success. Students do not need to sign up in advance for WIN Time. We do ask that students plan to be there for the start at 2:45pm so they can benefit from the full support. We will keep a log of students and their engagement (arrival/departure time and their focus/work while they are there). For students needing transportation home, activity buses will be available departing at 5:15pm.
The final day of Quarter 3 is Friday, April 8.

New: Eastview Competition Cheerleading Informational Meeting
For incoming grades 8th -12th (male and female) No Experience Necessary
Tuesday, May 24th - 6 pm ( approx. 45min -1 hr)
Eastview High School - Room C-250
Please enter Eastview from the upper parking lot thru Door 8.
The Competition Cheer team performs on the "Big Blue Mat" at Local, State, and National Competitions. To best describe it, it's those cheerleading performances you've probably seen on ESPN one weekend afternoon. The team performs a routine with music, and they cheer, dance, build stunts and pyramids. Eastview's competition team is looking for about 16-20 participants to fill all positions which include the Flyers (top person), Bases (person who lifts top person), and Back Spot Bases (assists bases to stable stunt).
This team is a varsity level team and practices like a varsity level team. So, if you are interested in being part of a team, showing your school spirit, meeting new friends, wanting to be a cheerleader, possibly traveling to Disney World, and you don't mind working hard for your goals as a student-athlete and for the team, then his team is for you! Again, No Experience is Necessary!
Hopefully, we can get a higher number of participants. Please get the word out and bring a friend to try out because a larger team can do more stunts and pyramids.
Please complete this form if you have any interest or plan on trying out for the 2022-23 EVHS Competition Cheer Team.

Thank you and hope to see you soon!
