College Go Week (September 25-29)
Exercise for Education
This year our annual Exercise for Education (E4E) theme is "Get the Scoop—Exercise is Cool!" This is our #1 fundraising event for the school and 100% of the funds raised go right back to the school and our students! Proceeds make the dances, ice cream socials, student appreciation days, field days, and all of our other activities possible.
The top Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade fundraising classes will win an ice cream party! If we can reach $15,000… ALL ICES STUDENTS will get to enjoy an ICE CREAM TREAT! And last but not least, the top students from each grade who bring in the most donations will get to pick a staff member to make them into an ICE CREAM SUNDAE!
This year your child will be receiving a T-SHIRT to wear at the Walk-A-Thon. Shirts will be passed out the morning of the event. Students will change into the shirt before going out to the track.

Background Checks
In an effort to keep our schools safe, all volunteers must have a background check completed and on file with the school. To volunteer in the classroom, chaperone field trips or attend classroom parties, you must have a background check done. Important: A new background check must be done every school year. Also, this background check is only for ICES. Meaning, if you have a child in another building, you will need to complete one for that building too.

Food Assistance
Food Pantry - Volunteers Needed
The Braves Food Pantry is up and running and in need of volunteers! By partnering with Gleaners Food Bank, we are able to distribute food three times per month, twice at the Indian Creek Learning Center and once at the ICHS parking lot. Volunteering with the Braves Pantry is a great way to give back to our local community. Please register through the volunteer link. Thank you!
No Pets
Please be aware that dogs are not allowed on school grounds, playgrounds, or sports fields at any time throughout the calendar year except for service animals, per school policy, Indiana and Federal law.
This policy is for our students and staff members' health and safety.
After school hours and athletic events and practices, when students are absent, dog owners may walk their pets on a leash along the school property borders, such as the walking trail and on sidewalks/school roads. Please clean up and properly dispose of pet waste.
