Carleton Washburne
Monday Memo - February 5, 2024
Washburne Families,
We had over 200 students join us Friday evening for Washburne’s Winter Bash. Students danced, ate, played a variety of games, and socialized with their peers. A huge thank you to our PTO for organizing this event, and to all of the parents who volunteered their time to help supervise. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are thankful for your partnership.
Washburne Winter Conferences
Washburne Winter Conferences will take place on Thursday and Friday of this week. Please note that the scheduling portal will close to families at 3:00pm on Tuesday 2/6. If you have not already scheduled your conferences, you can do so by clicking this LINK.
New Trier Scheduling Conferences
Thank you to our 8th grade families for signing up for a conference with New Trier this Wednesday, February 7th. If you signed up for a conference, please note the following details:
Parents should enter Washburne by the athletic entrance off Elm St. Your child will meet you in the gym for your conference.
Please make sure to tell your child what time their appointment is. While our teachers will do their best to send students at the appropriate time, it will be helpful if students know their schedule.
Placement results were mailed by New Trier last week. If you have not received them in today’s mail, please reach out to New Trier on Tuesday and they can send you an electronic copy.
If your child has an IEP, you should have received a separate email from your child’s case manager to schedule an appointment. These meetings will take place in our main office. Please go to our main entrance and your child will meet you in the main office.
Take Care and Be Well,
