Dear CES Families and Friends,
The first week of 2024 was a huge success for CES students and staff. It was great to reconnect after the holiday break and hear all the wonderful stories our students had to share.
On Friday, our school was treated to an incredible presentation and visit from the MRMS Seashore Stewards. The Seashore Stewards is a group dedicated to learning about and preserving our coastal environment. Middle school students presented a wide-range of projects and games to our students. It was great to see some of our CES alumni come back and present. The star of the show was a life-size blow-up Humpback Whale. Students were able to "enter" the whale and learn about the biological systems of this ocean giant. Make sure to check out some of the pictures below.

CES - Where we are proud to be SHARKS!

- Thank you to Ms. Kane and the Seashore Stewards for their amazing presentations on Friday! We learned so much about the animals and fish living in our local waters. We love to see our CES SHARKS return and share their success!!
- Thank you to Sgt. Massey for providing a pizza party to the students of Ms. Turco's class for earning the most SHARK tickets at last month's assembly.
Mobile Crisis
MCI provides short-term service that is a therapeutic response to youth and family/caregivers experiencing a behavioral health crisis. MCI evaluates the situation, identifies the challenges, involved, assesses the needs, and begins to treat and stabilize the situation, reducing the immediate risk of danger to the youth or to others. MCI then provides up to 7-days of intervention and services post the initial encounter. Learn more about Bay Cove Mobile Crisis HERE.

Winter Programming Schedules:
WIC Program
WIC is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health care education, healthy food, and other services free of charge to Massachusetts families who qualify. WIC is for all kinds of families: married and single parents, working or not working. If you are a father, mother, grandparent, foster parent, or legal guardian of a child under the age of five, you can apply for WIC for your child.

All potential volunteers need to complete the Volunteer Registration Form and have a current CORI on file in order to volunteer in our schools or at school-sanctioned events.
