Let's be clear, Issue 15 is here. This week's picture showcases the 100 pairs of pajamas we donated to the Tustin Community Foundation as part of their Project Pajamas Program. The picture shows some of our K-8 students presenting the pajamas to the Foundation's rep Tammis Berkheimer. HS Math Testing Protocol Update

Effective immediately, all math tests will need to be taken on the Tustin Connect Classroom Desktops or by hard copy with no devices. All notes for math tests will need to be printed out for tests.

HS Finals Week Visitor - Wed, Dec 18 @11:30 am

In order to help us through Finals Week at the HS campus, we'll be getting a visit from Sterling! Sterling is a licensed Therapy Dog whose been working with students, elderly and sick patients for over 8 years and been the featured in a children's book and many articles. He's amazing and we are so lucky to have him stop by. He'll be on campus at 11:30 am on Wednesday to hang out.

Winter Celebration - K-8

Our K-8 classes will be celebrating the Winter Festival Thursday, 12/19 from 12:30-1pm in P11. All students and parents are invited to join in the mini celebration and get-together before winter break. There will be games, arts and crafts activities, and a pancake breakfast for lunch! Parent volunteers are needed to help set up and provide some items to make this a memorable event for the kids. Your help is greatly welcome and appreciated! Please feel free to contact the office or your child's teacher to connect with the parent leaders.

Construction Update at the K-8 Site

The K-8 site parking lot is getting solar panels installed as part of a district wide long term cost savings and positive environmental impact. What it means for us is that over the coming week we will have limited parking. When we return the parking will be opened up again. In February, they will finish the project and parking will be limited for a couple of weeks during that time. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any disruption it may cause.

REMINDER: Free 24/7 Tutoring

With the Thanksgiving break upon us, it's a good time to remind your HS student to take advantage of this terrific resource. It really is an incredible resource. We get daily reports of our usage and it's a shame more of our students aren't using it for their papers and all of their coursework. It's incredible. For your convenience, we've included a parent and student handout as well.

Winter Break Dates 12/20-1/3

Friday, December 20th is a district-wide pupil free day. The winter break officially begins December 23rd through January 3rd. We return to regular schedule on Monday, January 6, 2020.

Senior Activities - It's Official

Tustin Connect Seniors will be able to attend Prom and Grad Night at their resident comprehensive high school. Students will simply need to agree to the same behavior and academic guidelines that the other students are held accountable to. We are so excited to be able to extend this opportunity to our TC Seniors this year and moving forward.
