Dear St. Anne Parents,

All of you have been so responsible in helping to keep our students healthy and safe from passing on the virus, I need your help once again. The new virus variant, Omnicron, is currently going around. I would like to ask every parent to please use good judgement when your family is interacting with family and friends and IF you are going to be traveling. I would like to ask that if your child is traveling over Christmas that you have your child tested before s/he comes back to school on January 5. If you are coming back a day or two before January 5, then you should have your child tested the day before s/he comes back and then again 3-5 days after you return home. Please turn in that verification when your child returns to school on January 5. I realize that most of our children ages 5-15 here at St. Anne School have been fully vaccinated, but this is a caution that will help to ensure everyone's good health. We all appreciate your continued support and help! Thank you.

Our Christmas Program will take place tomorrow night. Students can be dropped off in their classrooms starting at 6:30, but MUST be in their classroom by 6:45 at the latest . Our very fun and talented school choir will warm up the audience with their broad range of songs starting at 6:30. The Christmas Show will begin at 7:00. The program will conclude around 8:30. Please note that we want every class to have a full audience, thus no child is allowed to be picked up until the entire show is over around 8:30

PARKING: The Irving Street gate will be the ONLY gate open to get into the school yard. The Irving Street gate will open at 6:15. Parents will be stationed at the entrance of the Irving Street gate directing each car where to park. In order to get everyone parked in an orderly fashion, please follow the directions of the parents once you enter the school yard.

All students are encouraged to come in Christmas attire or Christmas colors this Friday. Show your Christmas spirit by wearing green, white, and/or red!

Don't forget, Friday is a 12:30 dismissal day. Students not picked up on time, will be sent to Extended Care and the appropriate charge levied for the time they are there.

Yesterday, we sent out an email to all parents with a request to fill out a short religion Catholic Identity Survey. We would appreciate all parent participation by this Friday, December 17. Here is the link:

We are ever so grateful to all the families who donated to this year’s 5K Walk-a-thon! To date we have raised over $56,432.85. What a tremendous job from all the St. Anne families, students, teachers and staff who contributed to this event - you are all Simply the BEST!

Reminder the donation goal is $150/student. We will be sending reminders this week so please send in your donations ASAP. I want to alert everyone to one of our upcoming family events...Grandparents' Day. This year, Grandparents' Day will take place on Wednesday, Feb, 2. Grandparents can begin to arrive at 11:00 and the festivities will begin at 11:30. Please be sure to have your parents mark their calendars and set aside this day to spend time with their grandchild(ren) here at school. More information will be coming home in January.

Toiletry Drive by Girl Scout Troop 62685 to help support homeless families and children. Collection bins are located outside the school office until Friday Dec 17. Our troop goal is to collect 100 of the following items: Loofah Sponges, Baby Lotion, Body Lotion, and Shaving Cream (*Preferably new and in travel size if possible) for Hamilton Families. I am very happy to announce that when we all return from Christmas vacation in January, we will see scaffolding on three sides of the school. After months of planning, we are ready to begin the painting our school's exterior. We all look forward to freshening up the exterior of the school building with our new paint job. Our final exterior upgrade will be the extensive planting around the perimeter of the school yard and a few other areas which will take place this summer starting in June.

Our next in-person parent tour will take place Wednesday, Jan. 12; the next Zoom tour is Tuesday, Jan. 25. If you know of a family member or have friends looking for a warm family oriented school, please share these dates or the others so they can explore our school.
