First term progress reports have now been sent home. Please take some time to review your child's digital portfolio if their classroom teacher is using "Spaces" or read over the Student Learning Update which you received on Monday.

Our holiday concert tickets have now been sent home and please let the office know if you would like some tickets for the Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon performances. Unfortunately, we do not have any tickets available for the Wednesday evening performance.

Whether it's a cool or not so cool sweater, or anything that brings out the holiday spirit, please dust off those Santa Hats/ Antlers or something with festive Green/Red/White to show off your school spirit this Thursday!

This Friday all students will be coming to the gym @ 1:00 p.m. to celebrate the spirit of the season. In addition, this will also be Pyjama day which makes the last day of school a nice cozy one before the start of Spring Break!

This school year, we were fortunate to have Mr. Morris and Ms. Chalifour help with the role of Vice-Principal at our school until a new person was appointed by the School District. We were very fortunate to have these two people step in and do an excellent job helping with the school administration side of things at Peace Arch which made a significant difference for our school community.

I'm also pleased to announce that Susan Nazem will be joining Peace Arch as Vice Principal when we return back from the Winter Break on January 8th. I have heard nothing but great things about Ms. Nazem and look forward to welcoming her to the school community in January.

Hi everyone,

My name is Susan Nazem, and I am excited to be joining the Peace Arch Elementary community. I am elementary trained and taught grade 6/7 for five years before switching over to high school for the last few years to work in the role of BASES Department Head. I have heard wonderful things about the students, staff, and families at Peace Arch and look forward to meeting you all soon and making meaningful connections. 😊

If you are planning an extended vacation after the Winter Break, please inform the office. A student can only be absent for 25 consecutive school days in order to guarantee a space in the school. Call the office at 604- 536-8711 or email at peacearch@surreyschools.ca
