Students from the ALC recently participated in the MAAP STARS State Conference. Students were recognized in several areas. Mario Linares, Senior at that ALC, and Mrs. Paula Olson, English Language Arts Teacher and MAAP STARS Advisor, were recently recognized at the MAAP STARS State Conference. Mario was the MAAP STARS Student of the Year. Paula Olson was nominated by ALC students and received the MAAP STARS Advisor of the Year.

This past school year, juniors and Seniors from AP English had 4th Grade pen pals from Halverson Elementary. They got to meet in person a few times this year to connect and play!
