PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Greetings Titans,
Last week Elkins Pointe celebrated our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Carol Garcia-Dunn, and our Professional of the Year, Ms. Edith Woodruff, at the Legacy Awards Luncheon. Elkins Pointe also celebrated winning First Place in the Jr. Division at the Roswell Youth Day Parade.
This week we will be celebrating Bus Driver Appreciation Week. The PTSA will provide donuts and coffee on the morning of Tuesday, October 18th, and sweet and salty snacks on the afternoon of Friday, October 21st. If your child rides the bus, please thank your bus driver. Please think about showing your appreciation with a handwritten note or a token of your appreciation.
The 8th-grade Georgia Trip will take place from October 19th to 21st. Thank you to Assistant Principal Ward and the 8th-grade Social Studies teachers for bringing this Georgia Studies field trip back. I also would like to thank the parents, staff, and community members who donated to help a Titan student who could not afford to go on the trip. Your generosity truly made a difference.
Thanks for all you do!
Damian Bounds
Principal of Elkins Pointe Middle School
