Special Education Services continues to be committed to supporting the recognition of Disability History & Awareness Month in our district.

In September 2012, the school board passed a resolution stating our schools shall provide instruction on disability history, people with disabilities, and the disability rights movement during the month of October, and periodically throughout the year.

We invite you to utilize the WCPSS DHAM engagement opportunities to encourage common language and common understanding during our annual learning experience. Thank you for your continued support in Breaking Barriers and Shaping Futures for all of our students!

Students will participate in this year’s Fun Run on Friday, October 6. PTA and Bryan Road ES appreciate the support of our families and community in supporting this year’s fundraiser.

Please review the WCPSS Enrollment Proposal overview to learn more about the district’s plan for addressing overcrowding at schools around the district, including Bryan Road Elementary School. Parents and Caregivers can provide their input and opinions through the ThoughtExchange and participate in a virtual overview session on Thursday, October 5 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm.
