LEAD: Meet VJ Bala, VF's Board President
CONNECT: VF Staff and Board Updates
At VF, we recognize that our most important assets are our staff members who are connected to our mission. They have navigated through these very challenging times with dedication and commitment to teamwork. Our staff-led Morale Team assures that all are aware of health benefits and time-off policies, serves as an “ear to the ground” on staff mental health and morale, and implements creative morale-building activities.
MOBILIZE: VolunteerFest 2021, A Day of Remembrance
In recognition of the 20th Anniversary of 9/'11, VolunteerFest 2021 was held on this National Day of Remembrance. The resilience of our Fairfax County community came shining through in their willingness to serve and turn the memory of a tragic day in our nation’s history into a positive day of action and remembrance.
2021 Volunteer Impact by the Numbers
Now is your opportunity to make a transformative gift which will have sustainable impact on our community.

Community Conversations come to CFNOVA's First-Ever Virtual Gala
Volunteer Fairfax will be one of three Build Back-Dream Forward Community Conversations grant recipients featured in CFNOVA’s 2021 Raise the Region being held virtually on Friday, October 8, 2021. CFNOVA has invited these grantees to tell the story of how the BB-DF initiative helped to leverage existing networks to engage the community in conversations to help advance economic mobility, promote racial justice and equity, and catalyze more inclusive systems of economic growth in Northern Virginia. Lorna Campbell Clarke, VF’s Director of Communications has taped a studio interview highlighting Volunteer Fairfax’s mission and work around building equity and addressing the impact of the Build Back-Dream Forward grant on the organization, community, and region.
