Parent Volunteers

Parents wanting to volunteer at the school or for field trips, on a consistent basis, need to have a Criminal Record Check, Child Intervention Check and sign a Volunteer Confidentiality Undertaking form.

End of day phone messages to students

If you have a message to pass onto your child for end-of-day arrangements please call the school office no later than 1:30 pm.

It is very difficult to find a child once they have left the classroom at the end of the school day.

Parent/visitor access

All visitors to the school must sign in at the office.

Student absences

Please report student absences to the office or through school messenger.

Please sign up today for your child to attend Kindergarten at Holy Redeemer in the fall.

We had a great turn out and are very excited to see where we go from here and what the future of this program will bring to our community. We are so blessed to be the school of choice for our existing families and we would not exist with-out YOU! It is a pleasure to offer our community a small, inclusive, and multi-faceted environment where we are able to provide an enriching experience tailored to fostering the needs and growth of each individual student. We pride ourselves in knowing the heart and unique strengths each student - this sentiment will not change as it is woven into the fabric that makes us who we are.

2022/23 Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) Survey

If you have a child in grades 4 to 8 you have also received a survey from Alberta Education through the mail as well. Please watch for this.

We would encourage you to complete the survey. The AEA Parent survey has been extended to March 17th as there have been delays with mailouts for parent packages from Alberta Education.

Students in Grades 4 to 8 will also complete these surveys as well. These will be conducted at school and facilitated by Holy Redeemer School staff.

READ-A-Thon winners…

We just want to thank everyone who participated in this years read-a-thon, and also everyone who supported the students by sponsoring them, and encouraging them to read during this time.

We raised a total of $4,276.10 for our library. WOW!!!

We will be able to buy so many new books and resources, amazing!!

The students at Holy Redeemer read a total of 24,078 minutes during the read-a-thon!! AWESOME!!!!

The winners of the baskets and pizza party were…

• Top reader (K-4) Merrek in gr 4 with 1800 minutes read
• Top reader (5-8) Kristina in gr 5 with 1,220 minutes read
• Most money raised by a student Lilah in grade 5
• Class with the most minutes read, grade 4 who read for 4830 minutes (pizza party)
• Winner of the draw (raised a minimum of 25$) Keaton in gr 2

Thank you for your continuous support and encouragement for your child's love of reading. Reading makes us all winners!!
