The Lion Ledger
ROAR
Lemoore Elementary School
Principal's Message
As the weather is changing, and we are moving into the second half of trimester one, the students and teachers are hard at work establishing a strong foundation in reading and math.
Parent Conferences were a great success. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend. Please continue to contact your child’s teacher regarding any questions or concerns; we are a team in your child's success.
October is a very busy month with Benchmark Assessments, Red Ribbon Week, picture make-ups, and the start of our sports league. We will continue to focus on attendance. It is vitally important for students to be at school, on-time daily. As a reminder we do not wear costumes to school on Halloween, October 31st. Students are encouraged to wear orange on that day for fun dress-up. We will also have a teacher professional development day on Friday, October 27th. This means no school for students.
Thank you for your continued support of Lemoore Elementary.
NATIONAL CUSTODIAL WORKER'S RECOGNITION DAY
October 2nd was National Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day. We want to show our appreciation to the employees who keep our school running smoothly. Custodial workers operate behind the scenes. They are often under-appreciated for the hard work they do day after day, too. These are the personnel keeping our schools clean and well maintained.
We want to give our appreciation to the Lemoore Elementary Custodians:
- Mr. Ozzy Lopez
Ms. Lynette Johnson
Mr. Yared Lopez
Thank you for keeping our school clean and safe every day!!!
MAKE-UP PICTURE DAY - October 12th
This is for those who were absent on the original picture day.
** Students still need to be in Dress Code on Picture Day
DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS - OCTOBER 10th - 26th
The purpose of the assessments are to gather information to make instructional decisions that best supports student learning.
