Breakfast and Lunch Menus
Parents and students will have a new look at school lunch! Beginning on August 1st, LINQ Connect, a new software program implemented by St. Vrain Nutrition Services Department, will display allergens, identify choices for those with dietary or religious restrictions, and provide real time updates on last-minute menu changes.
In addition to giving more menu visibility to parents and students, LINQ Connect enables the Food Services staff to collect data to drive menu decisions and control costs while delivering the best product possible to students every day. For the staff, the new software reduces paperwork and streamlines ordering giving the kitchen team more time to prepare delicious meals.
Given the fluid nature of the breakfast and lunch menus, please check Linq connect frequently by scanning the QR Code below.

Hearing and Vision Screening
Vision and Hearing Screenings are vital to ensure your child has the visual and hearing skills necessary to perform well in school.
Please keep in mind that these screenings do not serve as a substitute for comprehensive exams by your child’s healthcare provider. Routine eye exams are important —regardless of age or physical health.
If your child requires follow-up vision or hearing testing, you will receive a letter with your child’s screening results.
Please contact Alyssa Redmore at redmore_alyssa@svvsd.org or 720-652-8101 with any questions/concerns.

Jog-A-Thon Encouragement Posters
Cheer on your child as they run their laps, even if you aren’t able to be at the Jog-a-thon!
The PTO will be outside of the school on Friday, September 8th from 2:30-3:30pm with all of the supplies needed to make a Jog-A-Thon Encouragement Poster! You can decorate here or take them home and fill them up with words of encouragement and enthusiasm. Posters that are taken home should be returned by Thursday, September 21st. Posters will be set up around the track on the morning of the Jog-A-Thon for your child to see while they run. News from our Health Office
Gifted and Talented Referrals
Each year, schools in St. Vrain Valley School District complete a process to identify students who demonstrate exceptional ability or performance in one or more academic areas and may, therefore, qualify for Gifted/Talented educational services. These students usually perform at least two years above grade level in their strength area(s), and they require additional academic challenges in order to support their continued educational growth and progress. In addition, they usually demonstrate characteristics of unique creativity and high motivation in their strength areas.
Referrals are open through the month of September and will close on the last day of the month. Referrals after that date will be addressed on a case by case basis. Completing a referral guarantees a review of the student profile to determine if testing is recommended for the student. The process for identification requires a body of evidence and often takes place throughout the school year.
The process takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
Please click below for the Referral Form.
Free and Reduced Meal Applications
All students in St Vrain Valley Schools will have access to free healthy, nutritious school meals beginning in the 2023-24 school year thanks to the Health School Meals for All program approved by Colorado voters.
