Principal's Message

Mustang Families,


As we each anticipate a busy month, let’s remind ourselves to take time and re-discover the many moments which brought joy and grace into our lives this year. I’ve been so fortunate to experience these precious moments with your children over the past two years. For that, I am so very grateful. I wish each of you well as you begin your summer and welcome the 2019-2020 school year with renewed energy. The last day of school for students is on Wednesday, May 22nd. We will resume school on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019. The new school calendar for 2019-2020 can be found at the end of this newsletter, or on our school website at https://www.manvel.k12.nd.us/

Monday, May 13 ~ "The Emperor's New Clothes" MPS MS Choir @ 1:30 & 7 p.m.

Wednesday, May 15 ~ Agriculture Safety Day with CHS at the city park (grades 4,5,6)

Thursday, May 16th ~ 5th-grade field trip to Turtle River State Park all day (9:15-3:00)

Friday, May 17th ~ Biography Presentations with Parents in 4th grade @ 2:40 p.m.


Tuesday, May 21st ~ 5th Grade Track Meet, 11:30-2:00 @ Cushman Field

Tuesday, May 21st ~ 8th Grade Graduation @ 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 22nd ~ Last Day of School for Students

Thursday, May 23rd ~6th-grade Track Meet


School resumes on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019! Have a happy and safe summer!

Summer School

Summer School forms have been sent home with students. If you would like to send your child to Manvel Summer School, please call the office at 696-2212. Summer school runs in the morning during June.

8th Grade Graduation

We will be celebrating our 8th-grade students with a special graduation celebration on Tuesday evening, May 21st @ 7:30 pm. We wish them well and send our congratulations to them and their families!

Goodbye to some special MPS Staff

We would like to thank Mrs. Christine Yost and Mrs. Kate Hoverson on their service to Manvel Public School and we wish them well in their new endeavors.
