Wildcat Weekly!
Wildcat Weekly!
Dear Wildcats,
We held two outstanding night events this week...Title I Parent Night and PTO's Bingo Night. Our event on Wednesday featured science...we had an awesome presenter and then our students and families went to the cafeteria for science related activities and dinner. Bingo Night had an incredible turnout! It was fun and exciting! Thank you to Mrs. Norcross, our teachers, our PTO members, and all of you who attended these incredible events.
Our PBSIS Team has been doing incredible work to further promote our safe, responsible, and respectful school environment. Check out the happenings below!
You will see information below about events, community programs, and what our clubs are up to. Also, please find the parent survey below.
Unfortunately due to the weather, we have had indoor recess this week. We will look into the weather for next week to see if we can get outside. Our students have been doing well during this time, and we are reinforcing our use of indoor voices during indoor recess. Winter has taken a hold...here's to better weather days ahead.
Mrs. Slavin and Mrs. Adams won our staff PBSIS recognition this week...both were chosen for being helpful to the students and staff and for being welcoming and positive. Check out some of our week's student winners below.
Please note that February 16 will be a staff only day. On February 19, all schools are closed for President's Day.
Have a restful weekend and we will see you all Monday.

PBSIS Committee - Blizzard of Kindness and Estimation Station winner!
Our PBSIS Committee held a 'Blizzard of Kindness' event this week. Students were given snowflakes and wrote positive and uplifting messages on them. Student responses ranged from kind words to positive messages for their school and friends. This was a great success! We will continue to promote positivity in many different ways!
Our Estimation Station is over and we have a winner! Please congratulate 4th grade student McKenzie Jefferson! She correctly guessed that there were 440 marshmallows in the jar, earning her the coveted Smores basket. Thank you all for participating!
