Students will learn virtually from home on Friday, February 3. Please visit your eCLASS course page from each teacher for asynchronous learning. We will run the block schedule on Wednesday, February 1, and Thursday, February 2. Elective course selection for 2023-2024 will occur during the 8th period, the Personalized Learning Period (PLP) on Thursday, February 2.

Seckinger Community School will offer Health and PE courses this coming summer. Both classes will be taught online. Registration is open on Monday, January 30, and will close on Friday, May 5th, or until classes are FULL. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

A big shoutout to our Student Council, Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Student Leaders for their hard work in welcoming our Rising 9th Graders this past Thursday and guiding them through their future homes with personalized tours. Our students represented Seckinger well and served as wonderful role models to our future Jaguars.

Parents of students enrolled in the Free and Reduced Meal Program must reapply for the program each school year. Applications for the 2022-2023 school year are still available on the Gwinnett County Public Schools website at https://bit.ly/GCPS-FRMeals. (You may change the language of the application in the upper right corner.) Students who qualify for Free and Reduced Meals often qualify for reduced fees for AP testing, ACT testing, SAT testing, and college applications.

We encourage parents of all eligible students to apply as soon as possible.

Prom is around the corner! Tickets are available NOW for purchase through MyPaymentsPlus. All ticket sales will run from January 16th through March 12th. Tickets start at $75 per ticket and will increase in price as Prom approaches. Be sure to purchase your Prom tickets in advance and complete all required forms. • Basketball Season Reminders
• Only Seckinger HS students and opposing HS students will be permitted in games without a parent. High School IDs will be checked.
• Students must leave school on game day and can return one hour prior to tip-off. Students will enter through the main gym lobby.
