Spring Conferences are around the corner on March 22nd and March 23rd. We will dismiss early these days at 11:40 to allow time to conference. Due to the limited amount of time, we do not conference with all parents at this time. If you have questions about your child's progress or conference, please reach out to your child's teacher.

We will have lost and found items out on conference days, we highly encourage you to take a peek to see if any of the items belong to your family. Any items left after that time will be donated to charity.

Please help us avoid sending items to donation by labeling your garments with your student's name. Thank you!

Do you know a child who will be five years old on or before August 31? Maybe it's your neighbor, friend or even your own child. Now’s the right time to enroll next year’s kindergarten students. The sooner you enroll, the better we can keep you informed and get prepared for your child to join us. Get information on what documents you need and how to enroll -- the process is all online at sumnersd.org/register.

To help welcome new kinders and their families, each of our elementary schools created virtual tours, which includes a school tour and staff introduction. Watch each schools' video here.

Vision and hearing screening will take place for our Liberty Ridge students on Tuesday, March 1st. Please make every effort to send your child to school on this day so they can participate. If your child has been prescribed glasses or contact lenses, they need to be worn for accurate results. Screening is done for grades: K, 1, 2, 3, & 5. Please contact our LPN, Jessica Olson, if you have any questions.

• There has a close contact with anyone confirmed to have, or suspected to have COVID-19
• The Student has tested positive for, or is waiting on a test for COVID-19
• The student has been told to self isolate or quarantine by public health or a medical professional
• Any of these symptoms are present:

• Fever of 100.4 or higher

• Cough- frequent and persistent

• Loss of taste or smell

• Shortness of breath

• Fatigue

• Headache

• Muscle or body aches

• Sore throat

• Congestion or runny nose

• Nausea, diarrhea or vomiting
